What is Site Publisher?

The Site Publisher is a tool included with Alpine Hosting and Alpine Email plans that allows the creation of a single page website even if you have never created a website before. With the Site Publisher you can create a simple, one-page website in a matter of minutes without a complicated configuration and installation process.

The Site Publisher includes a library of page templates and a simple editor. The template library includes a growing list of templates to choose from. With the included editor, you can choose a template and populate it with essential information.

The Site Publisher can be used to create a simple "Under Construction" page till your main website comes up, or just a simple one page website. If your needs are simple, the Site Publisher may be the right tool for you.

How to create a website with the Site Publisher

To begin, login to your cPanel account:

my-domain-name.com/cpanel

Once logged in to cPanel, navigate to:

Domains > Site Publisher

Creating a page with the Site Publisher involves three steps:

  1. Select Domain to create Website under.

If you only own a single domain, or are creating a page in an Alpine Email plan, cPanel will automatically select that domain and proceed to the next step.

  2. Select Template to be the base of your website.

There are currently 12 templates to choose from.

  3. Customize your website page

In this section, depending on the template selected, you will be prompted for information like Company name, title, description, images etc.

Note: Alpine Email accounts do not include a file manager and will therefore need to forward any images files to AlpineWeb by submitting a Service Request:

    Submit a Service Request

Images should be formatted with the maximum dimensions of: 200px x 200px (width x height)

That’s all you need to do to get publish your webpage.
