The following emergency update is being sent out to the San Jose, CA and Frankfurt, DE datacenters this afternoon. The update will be included with the updates scheduled to go out to the Dulles, VA datacenter tonight.
The following updates will be made to the FreeBSD VPS/MPS v3 platform.
ProFTPd will be upgraded to version 1.3.4a. Verio has recompiled this application with TLS support hard compiled into this version. Some customers who had previously made customizations to ProFTP in the proftpd.conf file may not have the proper options to optionally load TLS in their configuration file as compared to the current default configuration provided by Verio.
