  • San Jose, CA DC on 01/24/12

ShopSite 11
Upgrade Signature's ShopSite to the latest version - Customers can now click a link in the Control Panel to upgrade their ShopSite accounts to ShopSite 11. Once a customer upgrades to ShopSite 11, they cannot revert to their previous version.

php.ini change - allow_url_fopen Setting
The allow_url_fopen option is being set to "Off" in the default php.ini file. If necessary, a customer can change this back to "On" when needed. Instructions to change the setting back to "On":

Customers can edit and upload the php.ini file to the following location.

PHP 4 location:
cp /usr/local/php4/lib/php.ini ~/www

PHP 5 location:
cp /usr/local/php5/lib/php.ini ~/www

Customers may override existing options of PHP by placing a copy of php.ini in their /www/ directory (shown above) that has those overrides. However, by overwriting the entire file they may lose functionality. Without a customer’s /www/php.ini file, our server will default to our version and location of php.ini on the server.
