Propagation Time for Registered and Reactivated Domains Stampa

When I register my new domain name, or renew an expired domain, how long will it take to go live on the internet?

When you register a new Domain Name, many times it will become active right away, however, it can take up to 48 hours for new names to become active. This is referred to as "Propagation." Although this can vary depending on the actual registry, this delay may occur for most TLDs, such as .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info.

For expired domains that were recently renewed, it can take up to 24 hours for names to be fully active. Once a domain expires, it is directed to a default parking page and the site will go down, along with any email service on the domain. After the domain is reactivated (renewed), all of the previous services will be restored.

Once your domain is active, we do suggest that you keep backups of your settings in the unlikely event that you delete them by accident or change the host records. We are not able to restore your previous settings or website information as this information is not retained.
